Private Lakes in Clarkston MI

There are only a couple of lakes in Clarkston proper. However we are going to talk about the Clarkston area. There are lake homes in Springfield Township and Independence Township that the owners refer to themselves as living in Clarkston. Sometimes the mailing address is Clarkston.

Clarkston Private lakes come in all sizes. Some are all sports lakes and some are non all sports lakes. Usually the state made the bigger lakes public because a bigger lake could handle more boaters. It's just that simple....why would the state buy property on a small lake when they could get land on a bigger lake that more people could enjoy.
