MURRAY LAKE HIGHLAND TOWNSHIP MICH

Murray Lake is a 50 acre lake that is home to waterfront properties in Highland, Michigan.  Technically, it does allow sports water craft, but is better suited to row boats and the like, as it is a natural lake, which is an aesthetic advantage for those living waterfront on Murray Lake.  There are only about 16 waterfront homes on Murray Lake, leaving plenty of room. It also has Highland Township, Michigan land on the other side of the lake, including three farms.  Murray Lake is a beautiful place to live waterfront in Highland, Michigan.

Murray Lake is a very natural with lots of lilly pads, grasses, and cattails. It is considered an all sports lake but it is more of a row boat lake. On one side of the lake there is Highland Twp land.  The children on the lake go to Huron Valley Schools.  The lake was named for Sanford L. Murray who purchased adjacent land in 1836
