TOMMYS LAKE ORION TOWNSHIP MICH

Located in Orion Township, Michigan is Tommy’s Lake.   Tommy's Lake is 53 acres in size and the deepest spot on the lake is about 34 feet deep.  The mean depth is about 11.9 feet deep.  Tommy’s Lake is unique, as it is used to home to one of Michigan’s Boy Scouts of America troops. The camp was located on the lake, but there are many waterfront homes as well.   Now the old Boy Scout camp is a township park.  I would call it a public lake now.   Tommys Lake is a moderate size and now non waterfront residents are able to have boats on the lake.  However, since it did have the Boy Scouts’ camp, it is obviously a great lake for swimming and other water activities.  If you are looking to live waterfront on a fun and different lake, Tommy’s Lake in Orion Township, Michigan is  place to check out.

There are some newer larger colonial waterfront homes on Tommys Lake right before the area that the township is on.  The other side of the lake is what I would call a normal Oakland County Lake.  It is a mix of big and small, new and old, and added onto lake homes.  Many of the lake properties are smaller but there is an occasional one that is larger.

DEER LAKE The waterfront property residents of Deer Lake enjoy the perk of all sports watercraft being permitted. 

LOON LAKE - WIXOM  There are many waterfront homes on the lake, but there is also a park with lake access for residents of homes that are not directly on the water.
