Variety is the best feature that can found while living waterfront on Van Norman Lake, located in Independence Township, Michigan and Waterford Township, Michigan.  Living on Van Norman Lake, waterfront residents have access to two other Michigan lakes, via a pontoon or smaller boat.  Beyond that, these waterfront homes are arranged in a subdivision style, but with space between the properties, as well as variety among the houses.  Van Norman Lake itself is a private, all-sports lake that is 78 acres and has a maximum depth of 90 feet.  Van Norman Lake in Oakland County, Michigan is a great spot for potential waterfront homeowners who are boating enthusiasts.
