Oxford Lake is a private non all sports lakes that is about 115 acres in size. I don't know the depth of the lake but they say it is deep. The water is clear and blue. There are wake restrictions and only electric motors or hand powered boat are allowed on the lake.
There is no Michigan DNR launch, no public beach, or marina on the lake. Oxford Lake lies in the Village of Oxford and the kids that live on the lake to excellent Oxford Schools. The roads around the lake are paved. There are no condos on the lake. There are no canals or waterski course on the lake.
This beautifully landscaped and fenced six-acre park has something of interest for all ages! There is a gorgeous gazebo, large sandy beach, many picnic tables, grills, private boat launch & dock, play structure, a basketball court, a sand volleyball court, two regulation-size tennis courts as well as bathroom facilities. This wonderful "association only" park is nestled on plenty of rolling, lush, green grass and overlooks the crystal blue 115 acres of Oxford Lake. Teaming with bluegill, bass, walleye, and trout, this lake will provide you and your kids with some of the best available fishing in Oakland County!
The homes on the lake in the subdivision are bigger brick homes with basements and attached garages. Here are some of the characteristics of the homes.
The homes on the lake are on city sewer and water. The lots that the lakefront homes are not huge. They are about .35 of an acre. Decent size but not extremely wide or deep.

No boats with gas motors or powerboat of any size may be operated, maintained, or launched upon any lake from any parcel
within Oxford Lakes. The Association permits sail boats, paddle boats, electrically driven pontoon boats,
canoes, rowboats, or other vessels of a similar sort to use the lake waters
Docks should not extend more than 20 feet maximum from the shore and an “L” or “T” shape is
acceptable providing it also is within the 20 foot limit. The dock should be no more than 4 feet
wide. Low, portable docks in either aluminum or wood, natural or natural stain, are the only
acceptable types. Any deviation from this format must be put in writing for approval by the
Association. Rafts shall not be anchored more than 40 feet from shore.
j) DNR fishing regulations apply in the subdivision. Be aware of the type of fish, size, and season
before you keep your catch. After all, this is only good sportsmanship. All fishing shanties must
have the owner’s name, address, and phone number clearly affixed to their exteriors. Shanties
must be removed before the lake thaws.
No non residents can have a boat on the lake. Only boats owned by the Association members are permitted on the lakes and these must have the association sticker affixed to them in a visible place. If you need stickers, contact a Board Member.
I have not heard how the fishing is but Oxford lake has been stocked with bluegill, bass, walleye and trout.
