Losee Lake Homes Dexter MI information

There are only a couple of waterfront homes on Losee Lake.  I only notice that there are three parcels on the lake.

It is a quiet small lake.  I do not believe that Losee Lake in Dexter is an all sports lake because it is so small.  They say it is 30 acres in size.  However since there are only three parcels on the lake the lake residents probably do what they want.  Quite a bit of the shoreline is natural. There is no public access, no public beach though Dexter Townhall Road runs along the southeast corner of the lake.  It is a spring fed lake.

Losee Lake is located on Dexter Townhall Rd just south of Silver Lake in Dexter Township Washtenaw County MI.  It is north of N Territorial, south of Patterson Lake Rd and west of Dexter-Pinckney Rd. Losee Lake is jsut to the south of Silver Lake.

You can probably count on two hands the number of Southeastern Michigan lakes that have a bar or restaurant on the lake.  Union Lake has the Matter of Taste restaurant on it.  Walled Lake has Bayside Restaurant on it.  White Lake has the White Lake Inn on it.  These are just some of the lakes that have a bar and restaurant on it.  There are not many lakes that do.  Years ago there used to be more, but many have burnt down or closed.  They tore them down to make way for homes.

Do you want the convenience of having a place to eat on the lake?  If you are wondering how does a bar or restaurant affect the price of a lake home let me explain.  Again there is no specific dollar amount that you can add on for the restaurant on the lake feature.  It is a bonus to have a bar or restaurant on the lake.  But to say it adds dollars to your home, it really does not.  I just makes the lake a little more desirable and fun.  It is nice to go for a boat ride and be able to stop for quick meal if you do not feel like cooking.  Or if you want a cocktail it is always nice to stop and visit with people from the lake.
