There are about 78 homes on the lake.  There is a condo complex on the lake but they are set back from the lake.  tHere are the basic details of homes on Bush Lake in Holly MI.  The have one to four bedrooms.....though most of the homes have three to four bedrooms, and one to three bathrooms.  The lakefront homes range from 600 square feet to 3000 square feet.  Most homes are from 1500 sq ft to 2200 sq ft range.  

Most of the homes were built during the years of 1955 -2004.  The homes vary with the size of the garages.  Some of the small homes have no garages, but most have 1 - 4 car garages.  It is the same way with the home styles.  Home styles are ranches, tudor, split levels, contemporary, and colonials.  Homes are mostly ranch homes.  On Holly Bush Dr you will find the homes look like a normal subdivision with brick homes.  You won't find the smaller old ranches on this street.

The homes are on wells and some have city water.  It is the same way with waste systems.  Some homes have septic systems and some are on city sewers.  Most of the homes sit on regular size lots.  I would say the houses are not right on top of one another.  Just normal lots though there are a few homes that sit on two acres to three acres.  One lot is very big at 25 acres. 

If you’re choosing this lake then you will see a lot of real estate properties that suit your requirements of a new home. A very nice house near downtown Holly with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a living space of 1,456 sq. ft. has an asking price of $139, 900 many years ago. It is a condo and it’s difficult to find a condominium in the Holly area.

Bush Lake is a nice little lake that is very close to downtown Holly.   It is less than a mile to downtown Holly.  If you have made up your mind to be close to Fenton or Holly you may want to know more about Bush Lake.  Bush Lake lies in both Holly Village, and Holly Township in Oakland County MI.  It is a private all sports lake that is about 110 acres in size.  The deepest spot on the lake.  There are no wake restrictions that I know of.

I say it is a private lake because there is no public boat launch.  However Holly has a city park and beach on the lake.  I believe there is no boat launch but I do not know if allow kayaks to be launched from the park and beach.  Bush Lake water source comes from two streams and springs in the lake.  The school district for the kids on the lake is Holly schools. 

There are streets around the mainly paved but there is a gravel road too.  There are no canals on the lake, no marinas and no water ski course.            

Lake access for fishing is off the south side of the lake just east of the cemetary at Holly Township Park & Beach. Not sure of the road but it runs north off south Holly rd. just east of town.It’s a fishing lake and anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Black Crappie, Bluegill, Channel Catfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, and Yellow Perch.

The Holly Township Beach is located on Bush Lake. Hours of operation are noon-8pm, seven days a week (weather permitting). The Beach is open from mid June through Labor Day each summer. Red Cross certified lifeguards are on duty during all open times. There is also a concession stand which sells drinks and snacks throughout the summer season. A picnic area with barbecue grills is available on a first come basis.

Other bodies of water near Bush Lake are Silver Lake, Lake Fenton, and Ponemah Lake which are all located in nearby Fenton, Michigan.
